See Me Launch
In PSE this week we are going to be launching the ‘See Me’ campaign to all year groups. ‘See Me’ is Scotland’s national programme to tackle mental health stigma and discrimination. 120 staff/pupils in the school will be given ‘See Me’ pin badges this week which they will be asked to wear in school and in the community to raise awareness of mental health and also to show support in the campaign to end mental health stigma and discrimination.
To keep the campaign ‘live’ the badges will be passed on amongst staff/ pupils every fortnight to help spread the message of the campaign across our whole school community.
The ‘See Me’ campaign sits within UNCRC Article 2 – You have the right to protection against discrimination. More information on the ‘See Me’ campaign can be found at https://www.seemescotland.org/about-see-me/
