N5, Higher and Advanced higher Computing course
Higher : following the second course test at the start of March (following the assignment submission), exam technique is then the main focus of classes and revisiting areas that the candidates want to focus on.

National 5: following the second course test at the start of March (following the assignment submission), exam technique is then the main focus of classes and revisiting areas that the candidates want to focus on.

Advanced Higher : following the formal assessment at the start of march candidates focus on exam style questions.

As the examination is on Tuesday 2nd June this year we will have revision days on 28th and 29th May.Learners photograph then tick off the areas of learning covered from the course specification available in the classrooms and on the SQA website.
All learners have had the course specification pointed out to them from the SQA website as reference.

Resources for the course are in Itunes U, OneNote, Scholar, BBC Bytesize, the teacher and we use a range of text books in the classroom.
Learners also photograph work and store it in their computing album for reference.

Information regarding the N5 Computing course
• Software development taught 2 blocks a week until the formal assessment completed in February
• Web covered Aug to November
• Databases covered November to February

Under 19s programming club

Every Wednesday, between 5:30 – 7:30 and all ability levels are welcome. There’s a great buzz, and scope for students of all ages to show off what they’re working on and what they need help with.
