INTRODUCTION
Health, Food, Technologies and Textiles is a subject where the inter-relationships between foods, diet, health, consumer education and technology are studied within the context of the home and family.
The HFTT Department aim to progress students by allowing them to explore their health in a practical context as well as understanding and making reasoned choices about diet and food.
Students will build confidence through the development of practical food skills. Students will enhance their life skills such as problem solving and decision making through first-hand experience in the classroom setting.
